Boys to Men MentoringThe Dr. E. Thurman Walker Foundation will begin sponsoring Boys to Men Mentoring in Fall 2023. The program is designed to encourage boys in middle school to develop talents and encourage community service. The initial group will be small in number and mentors will provide guided sessions with participants to discuss and develop personal goals for academics, community service, spirituality and other aspects of their social growth.
DETW is seeking to partner with other organizations with similar interest in mentoring middle school boys of color. We are also seeking men who are already engaged in schools, churches, community/civic/political arenas, athletics, etc. Stay connected to learn more about the program. |
